One Punch Man season 3 Starts with a blast

The long wait is over and One Punch Man Season 3, Episode 1 is out. I know you guys are excited, I am excited, and all anime fans are excited. Correct me if I am wrong, this one is one of the most anticipated anime of all time. I mean they make you wait for years before dropping just 12 episodes. Still, is it worth the wait this time? Let’s dig deeper!

One-Punch Man Season 3, Episode 1

On MAL, episode 1 scored an overall rating of 7.04/10 with 3,865 votes. And on IMDB, it scored 6.6/10 with 557 votes. I believe it will go higher, as the starting ratings for long-awaited anime are usually low at first.

Personally, I think the first episode is quite good. It has almost laid the groundwork for the whole season. In the next few episodes, we can expect a few long-awaited and exciting monster vs. heroes matchups.

What to expect in One-Punch Man Season 3’s next episodes?

The groundwork is already laid, and the Monster Association arc is a go! If you subtract Saitama and Blast from the equation, the heroes would most definitely lose. Firstly, expect some huge battles from your favourite S-Class heroes like Pig, Genos, Tatsumaki, Flashy Flash, Atomic Samurai, Drive Knight, Child Emperor, Metal Bat, King, and Zombieman.

Similarly, the monster powerhouses you can expect to see are the Monster King Orochi, Black Sperm, Fuhrer Ugly, Gums, Nyan, and the mysterious Overgrown Rover.

Major Battles in One-Punch Man Season 3

I don’t want to spoil the fun for you. Also, I will not write the result of the following battles, which might be obvious for some, but trust me, this One-Punch Man arc is the best battles arc that you can hope for. So, yes, most heroes will be pushed to their limits – except for Saitama, perhaps!

Tatsumaki vs. Psykos & Gyoro-Gyoro

Tatsumaki, the Terrible Tornado, is the most powerful esper in the One-Punch Man universe. But get this: Psykos is no pushover either. Their battle makes Tatsumaki rethink her attitude and teaches her a lesson that there is always someone better. No spoilers, but this battle pushes Tatsumaki to her limits.

About Psykos, she is also an immensely powerful esper and a mastermind of the Monster Association. Her telekinetic abilities are on par with Tatsumaki’s. Gyoro-Gyoro is Psykos’s proxy, through which Psykos engages Tatsumaki. Expect this fight to be one of the best in the upcoming episodes.

Saitama vs. Orochi (Monster King)

When Saitama is involved, usually there is only one punch. But Orochi is the king of monsters and the most powerful monster there is. Orochi tries to overwhelm him through his tentacles and other powers, and this fight happens underground. Will Saitama get the credit for this fight and be promoted to higher levels in the Hero Association? Let’s hope for the best!

Garou vs. Nearly Every S-Class Hero

Garou is the wild card and the main villain of One-Punch Man. He still has a long way to go before he can hope to take a punch from Saitama. In this season, he stands with the Monster Association, as they saved him in the last season from Genos, Silver Fang, and the gang.

During Season 3 of One-Punch Man, please expect Garou to engage in battles with Genos, Bang & Bomb, Superalloy Darkshine, Pig God, and even Tatsumaki, constantly evolving and breaking his limits with each fight.

Superalloy Darkshine vs. Garou

Superalloy Darkshine is proud of his unbreakable body and defense, but the battle vs. Garou, who is constantly evolving with each fight, makes him rethink his powers. This battle will be a contest of pure skill and raw power from both fighters.

Flashy Flash vs. Hellfire Flame & Gale Wind

The S-Class hero Flashy Flash excels in agility, and high-speed, ninja-like swordsmanship is his main ability. Similarly, Hellfire Flame and Gale Wind are also incredibly fast combatants with more than just speed. This battle in Season 3 will be a must-watch for ninja and sword fanatics.

Child Emperor vs. Phoenix Man

If you want something tech-based and mecha, then this fight will be a pure delight for you. In this battle, the monster Phoenix Man pushes Child Emperor to use his ace tech against him. Still, I’ll not spoil the fun for you, so hold tight and wait for the next episodes.

Atomic Samurai vs. Black Sperm

Black Sperm has trillions of controllable cells in his body, and Atomic Samurai’s main Atomic Slash, which can cut up to the atomic level, feels less powerful when used against him. This battle will be a pure delight to watch as it will push Atomic Samurai to his limits. Will he win this one or lose? Let’s wait and see!

The Cadres vs. The Heroes (Final Surface Battle)

Once the Monster Association headquarters is raised to the surface, an all-out war erupts. This involves multiple simultaneous battles, such as:

  • Zombieman vs. Homeless Emperor
  • Pig God vs. Gums
  • Tanktop Master vs. Fuhrer Ugly
  • A grouped hero effort against Black Sperm, ENW, and Fuhrer Ugly.

My Thoughts on One-Punch Man Season 3

I think Season 3 will be a blast—but for the S-Class heroes, it might be a blast from which they struggle to recover. As we saw in the first episode, we realized that this one will be an all-out attack on the Monster Association. The monsters believe that they will definitely win this one since they have been preparing for a long time. And if you look at the overall standings, this seems like the right assumption. Except, there are hidden aces like Saitama and Garou on both sides. Let’s hope for the best – Thoughts?

One Punch Man Season 3 November 17 Update

Up until now, the studios have released 5 episodes, and so far, the story seems to be moving quite slowly. The monsters still have the kidnapped kid with them, and they seem to be gearing up for an all-out war with the S-Class heroes.

The S-Class heroes, led by Child Emperor, have created a solid plan to attack the monsters’ hideout in City Z. They’ve divided the heroes into different teams, each entering from a different path.

King, along with Bang, Bomb, Genos, and Fubuki, will enter through King’s designated route. Although the Association has tried to hide the plan from Bang and Genos—since they doubt their loyalty after letting Garou go and not finishing him when they had the chance.

Saitama is lost as usual, and King, who was excited to tackle the mission with him, is now depressed since he’s the only one who knows he isn’t as strong as everyone thinks.

Let’s see if the real fight begins in the next episode or if we get another filler. Let’s hope for the best.
