Solo Leveling Season 3 – What you should know

I don’t see Solo Leveling season 3 coming out soon as the studios are silent about the release date, trailers etc. However, it is going to happen. An estimated waiting time is one to two years from now. So, you can expect it to release in 2026, or late 2027. Wao, that is a bad estimate. but there are more things to discuss first, let’s dig deeper.

Why Solo Leveling Season 3 is so late?

Solo Leveling is one of the best entertaining anime of the past decade. And to acheive that studios had to put up a lot of effort. Adn then there are a lot of side projects like games, advertising, and other solo leveling products.

Sota Furuhashi (producer of Solo Leveling) even went a head and said that it is very difficult to predict the exact release date of season 3 since we have been working continually for the last three years. We need some rest, and a lot of time to be ready for the next season. I don’t understand this statement, but according to  Sota Furuhashi  the producer of Solo Leveling, it may not even happen in 2028.

In short the creators of Solo Leveling Anime are busy with a lot of other projects which are not limited to Solo Leveling, therefore they must finish there current projects first. So, Solo Leveling season 3 is not happening soon.

What will Solo Leveling Season 3 cover?

Solo Leveling Korean anime finished the Jejus Island arc nicely in the season 2. It is when the S level hunters realized there are owers much worse than their imaginations. Japan lost a lot of hunters, where as Koreans finished the task due to jinho’s overwhelming strength and abilities.

If we look as the web novel, and solo leveling mangwa, after Jeju Island, there are a few arcs which are most likely to happen in the season 3. Let’s see them one by one, and how they may or may not be portrayed in the season 3 of Solo Leveling.

Ahjin Guild Arc

The first one is Ahjin Guild Arc. It is an interesting arc and an entertaining one who like to see the progress of the protagonist. Sung Jin-woo makes his own guild and becomes it leader. He will take on more responsibilities, and build new alliances.

In anime, they may make it short, but it is up to the creators if they wish to make it more detailed. In any way, fans would like some action during this arc.

Double Dungeon Arc

The Double Dungeon Arc has the most significance in any of the Solo Leveling arc. It is where Sung jin-woo got his abilities, and the secrets to his powers, and showo monarch abilities will be revealed here. The revisit to big bad statue monsters will be something to watch.

Japan Crisis Arc

Solo Leveling season 3 might also cover Japan Crisis Arc which mostly revolves around Japan Hunters association and growing international tensions building up to more global, and massive upcoming threats.

International Guild Conference Arc

The most important arc of the Soo leveling manhwa or web novel that might be included in Solo Leveling season 3 is internation guild conference. It is because at this point the Monarchs have shown their powers, and hunters around the world have gathered to tackle this global threat. As the Shadow monarch and the most powerful hunter Sung Jin-woo will have a lot to say, and plan.

My Thoughts on Solo Leveling season 3

Solo Leeling took the anime world by a storm when its first season hit the screens. A valid and seemingly obvious reason behind its massive success was the quality animation along with a story which feels so good that the time itself feels short, and the episodes even shorter.

Solo Leveling season 3 might not hit the screens soon, but the arcs it is supposed to cover will set the stage for the final showdown between monarchs and hunters. The final conclusion will hopefully be available in season 4. But let’s not dwell too far into the future. And hope for the best that we will get the season 3 soon. Thoughts?
